🚀 Action plan: Register with all 5 agencies in your first week. Call within 3 days of registering to follow up. Always mention your Masters degree (MBIT, RMIT) and your PM portfolio project. Tell them you are relocating to Canberra immediately upon securing a role. Set your salary expectation at $70–75K (give room to negotiate down to $65K if needed).
📞 Agency Call Checklist

When you call an agency after registering, have these ready:

  1. Your name and that you registered online (date you did so)
  2. "I have a Master of Business IT from RMIT and 3+ years of project and ops support experience"
  3. You are relocating to Canberra immediately upon securing a role — no delay
  4. You are open to permanent and contract roles
  5. Salary: $65K–$80K + super permanent, $33/hr+ contract
  6. Ask: "Are there any current roles that might suit my profile?"
  7. Note the consultant's name and follow up date
⚠️ Visa reminder: You are on a Temporary Resident visa. You cannot apply for APS (Australian Public Service) federal government roles. However, ACT territory government, universities, consulting firms, and private sector roles are all OK. Make sure agencies know this so they don't put you forward for unsuitable roles.
